Currawong in the Peppercorn Tree

Currawong in the Peppercorn Tree

from A$150.00

The silhouette of a Currawong bird can be seen hanging upside down in a Peppercorn tree, gorging itself on the dangling ripe berries. The highlights of dappled sunlight create movement on the dark grey background. Like many of my works on paper, this painting is inspired by the Japanese concept of “Ma” — a poetic arrangement of positive and negative space. Fine art reproduction on archival quality Hahnemuhle 308gsm paper. (Unframed)
