Bulls have become my unofficial ‘signature’ subject. Being a cattle breeder, I get up close and personal with these beautiful animals almost daily, it has been a joy to observe and learn about their lovely nature as intelligent, inquisitive social creatures. This is a depiction of our very handsome bull. The original artwork marks my second experimentation with neon/fluorescent paint—vibrant pink used here which seemed to inject glowing happiness into the painting.

Because the luminous nature of neon pigments are impossible to reproduce in the printing process, I hand paint the neon acrylic on top of the print to make it closer to the original.
