I spent the afternoon at my neighbour’s sheep station snapping away photos for painting reference. As the sun set, the glow of the kicked-up dust looked like an aura around the sheep as they were moved from the sheep yards to the next paddock. The golden sun through the trees and bright pink of the sheep’s translucent ears were a joy to paint—the light being the main feature here.
